Client: Better Together Cubed (bt3)
When: September 2021
What: Cubed Connection is a 10 part video series of mini-professional development for educators. I created all aspects of the video content utilizing select bt3 SEL activities for educators and students. Production occurred in Final Cut Pro X.
Client: ZenMation Interactive Media
When: January 2022 & September 2024
What: One of ZenMation’s key projects is the Caring for LIFE curriculum, teaching direct support professionals how to care for people with disabilities and seniors. I researched, wrote and designed an extensive 7+-hour training (storyboard) about Mental Health, Wellness and Mental Illness. In 2024 this was updated for an app and expanded to include quick-checks.
Client: ZenMation Interactive Media
When: August 2022, Summer & Fall 2023
What: eTrac is an online training environment and corresponding app to teach people with physical, learning and mental health challenges how to find and succeed in competitive employment. Initially developed in 2010, I evaluated the courses and app and provided recommended updates, with special attention to diversity, inclusion and equity. Later, I held a stakeholder focus group and then updated and enhanced the course suite, including interactivites and video scripts with an emphasis on diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and accessibility. (DEIBA). Examples:
Inclusive perspectives on the recommendations for eye contact, body language, greetings, self-expression, hair, clothing and hygiene for the entire interview process (cultural, gender-neutral, disability)
Language that is identity or person first, positive, neutral and from an anti-ableism perspective (removal of nuanced disablism, ableist language, covert microaggressions and linguistic superiority or discrimination).
Client: Better Together Cubed (bt3)
When: Summer 2022
What: Utilizing bt3’s social-emotional learning lessons for K-12 students, I created a large collection (~225) of corresponding digital grade-banded visual-language supports (google slides), extension activities and printables to support educator’s implementation.
Client: Better Together Cubed (bt3)
When: Summer 2022 - 2023
What: In Articulate360 Rise, I created course modules for K-12 educators to correspond with a selection of bt3’s SEL lessons. The modules contain visual-language google slides and printables, extensions by learning style, procured resources and detailed implementation guidance, problem solving and scaffolding.
Client: Seward Montessori School
When: July 2021
What: Due to district re-design, the school had a lot of incoming/new educators and leadership. As a gift to colleagues upon my departure, I created a video (featuring clips from fellow educators) that provided an overview of our PreK-8 writing goals, systems, assessments, lessons, practices, resources and curriculum maps, which I had led educators in creating and implementing. The video was produced in Final Cut Pro X
Client: World Citizen Peace
When: November 2022; Released January-May 2023
What: Created a guided 5 part Peace Education video series, as well as a teaser and trailer. Each learning video explores a peace action, is full of graphics and has several opportunities to pause and reflect. Feedback provided on scripts by an editorial team of the executive producer (WCP). Each video was 10-13 minutes and written, produced and starring, me! Produced in Final Cut Pro X.
